My name is Tarig and I’d love to take a moment to introduce myself. I have been employed as a support worker for 4 years and spent a further 2 years as a Youth worker within the residential, both Brisbane and West Moreton Detention centres. Additionally, I have spent time participating at Redbank Plains High school as an African Community liaison. An experienced and qualified support worker, alongside a wealth of clinical experience and exemplary communication skills, I also have a certificate 3 in disability support work and a diploma in community services.

I pride myself as being an individual who is hard working and reliable, with an unwavering commitment to provide quality care for all my clients in need.

Given the chance, I will employ my aptitude for multi-tasking, my ability to effectively excel under pressure and work either independently or as part of an interdisciplinary team. My extensive knowledge mixed with my wide skill base allows me to effectively create rapport and care for clients with diverse disabilities (both physically and mentally) regardless of their age.
